Sarah Palin Rally!

After some consideration, we decided to go ahead and post this event. We weren't sure if we wanted to bring politics into our "family" blog- but at the end of the day, politics does play a small part in our world. This year was more involved too because it was an election year. Jessica spent many hours volunteering for both the "Yes on Prop-8" campaign and for John McCain. She even traveled to a nearby "swing state" one weekend to canvass neighborhoods in Nevada. Needless to say, we were sad our candidate didn't win, but we realize this is God's country- not ours, and we have to trust that He has a bigger plan than our own self interests.

Sarah Palin traveled west to "Reagan Country" to hold a rally, and we both went! Crazy Jess danced among the protesters (Craig documented her doing this). Jess also got close to get some good pictures...
