Zion Canyon, Utah

We went on a road trip with some friends to Utah, and hiked in the Zion National Park. Here are some photos to share with you. It was a great trip- we highly recommend going! Fortunately, we stayed at our friends house in Springdale (2 mile drive from Zion)- but there are many camp grounds and lodges to stay in if you would like to go.

The first day we hiked 8-9 miles, and the second day we hiked 5-6 miles. On the second day we hiked Angels Landing- a very difficult and technical hike. I chickened out on the last 1/2 mile because the path was just a few feet wide (very narrow!)- and on each side of the path was a 2500ft drop! YIKES! I said no thanks to that...but the boys charged up the mountain.

Warning!...Falls from cliffs on this trail have resulted in death. (Safe?)

A picture of Angels Landing Mountain...the last 1/2 Mile. The boys climbed to the very top. If you look close, you can see people climbing it.
